The Importance of Breakfast

Eating breakfast every morning ensures students are alert and engaged in learning

for the rest of the day. Engaged students do better and doing better increases

engagement. Toast is offered every morning before school for all students.

Shine! Wow! What an amazing week of Performing Arts we had last week! 60 students from our school joined with over 200 students from 10 other Coffs Coast schools for three days of workshops in choir, instrumental and dance. The workshops provided an opportunity for schools to showcase their own choir, band and dance activities by performing for one another, as well as practise combined items in preparation for three community concerts at Sawtell RSL last Wednesday and Thursday. The students performed for over 500 audience members with professional sound and lighting from Any Entertainment. Highlights were the combined choir who opened the show with over 80 voices, including Kaiya Dawit, Summah Herbert and Rhiarna Carter who featured as soloists, and the combined dance/choir number to close the show with 114 dancers and 40 voices from 7 schools. A big thank you to all teachers and parents who assisted with hair, make-up and supervision. The students really did 'Shine!' Louise Wilson Shine! Director

PARENT ONLINE PAYMENTS - POP

Payments to the school can be made by cash or EFTPOS at the office or online through

the school website. The online option is a very safe, secure and convenient way to pay

for excursions, band and other payments to the school. On the William Bayldon Public

School website there is a black bar above the school name. On this bar there is a

“Make a Payment” tab. Click on this tab and follow directions. When making a POP

transaction please put as much information in as possible. The details of online

payments are then forwarded to the school. You do not need the student number or

reference number to proceed with payment. Record your receipt number on the

permission note (if applicable) and return the note to school.

UNIFORMS

Uniforms are available from the canteen. Please note the prices have increased.

Polo shirts $22.00
