عن معاذ ­ رضي هللا عنه ­ قال: "أوصاني رسول هللا صلى هللا عليه وآله سلم بعشركلمات:

قت , وال تعقن والديك وإن أمراك أن تخرج من ال تشرك با شيئا وإن قتلت وحرأهلك ومالك , وال تتركن صالة مكتوبة متعمدا؛ فإن من ترك صالة مكتوبة متعمدا فقدبرئت منه ذمة هللا , وال تشربن خمرا؛ فإنه رأس كل فاحشة , وإياك والمعصية؛ فإن

بالمعصية حل سخط هللا عز وجل , وإياك والفرار من الزحف وإن هلك الناس , وإذاأصاب الناس موتان وأنت فيهم فاثبت , وأنفق على عيالك من طولك , وال ترفع عنهم

عصاك أدبا , وأخفهم في هللا" [9].

ascribe anything as a partner to Allah even though you may be killedand burnt ; and do not disobey your parents even if they order you to

leave your wife and spend all your wealth; and do notdeliberately neglect any obligatory salat, since he who deliberately

neglects salat is no longer within the responsibility of Allah; and do notdrink wine, since indeed it is the root of every evil deed; and beware of

disobedience for verily disobedience causes the wrath of Allah todescend; and beware of fleeing from the line of battle even though yourcompanions die; and if people die (from a calamity like plague, etc.)and you are among them, stay where you are; and spend on yourfamily according to your means; and do not refrain (from using) thecane in bringing (them )up with good habits; and make them fear

Allah (Musnad Ahmed).
