COUNTY SCHOOL INSPECTORATE• The County School Inspectorate is an institutional
structure, subordinated to the Ministry of National Education.
• It has an administration council and an advisory board.
• The administration council is made up of the general inspector , 2 deputies, 5 inspectors, the head of the Teaching Staff Centre, the chief accountant and the legal counselor.
• The advisory board is made up of heads of education units, other prominent teachers, representatives of pupils, parents, representatives of the local public administration, social partners.

FUNCTIONS OF THE COUNTY SCHOOL INSPECTORATES
• To monitor the organization and functioning of the pre-university education network and to inspect schools
• To ensure compliance with the law in the organization management
• To propose the local school network and the students’ enrolment plan to the Ministry of National Education.
• To ensure, jointly with the local public administration, school attendance for the duration of compulsory education
• To ensure that schools are adequately staffed with teachers in accordance with the law.

FUNCTIONS OF THE COUNTY SCHOOL INSPECTORATES
• To guide the teaching staff’s in-service training and professional development, research work and other complementary activities
• To ensure, jointly with the local public administration, the educational conditions as well as the development of the material resources in schools
• To coordinate admission competitions and graduation exams
• To monitor all pre-university educational activities and services provided by economic agents, foundations and associations
• To coordinate and monitor the activity of the Teaching Staff Centre
