We have read the story of Solomon and the wisdom which God gave him to rule the great nation of Israel. Unfortunately, that wisdom did not help him since he eventually fell away from the Lord and in the eyes of the Lord, Solomon was not successful. WhWhat then should he have asked for which would have made sure that he is successful and remained faithful? is wisdom a bad thing to ask?DDavid had a completely different finish to his life, not only was he the most successful king of Israel, but he was also a poet, a writer, a musician, a warrior, an architect, and God Himself calls David as the man close to God’s own heart. What is it that David do differently that he ended up being so successful while Solomon failed? The answer is in Joshua 1:8 – God sasays that when you put God first and meditate (Read scripture and Pray) day and night, we will be prosperous and successful.

David knew this, so when he had an opportunity to ask God for something he did not ask for wisdom, but rather he asked that he would always be in the presence of the Lord (Psalm 27:4). WWisdom is important, but if we put wisdom above God it will not help us. But when we seek God first, He provides everything else which is required to have a successful life. James 1:5 says that if we need wisdom, we should ask God and He will give it to us. But we now know that wisdom alone is not enough, the key to be successful is the successful is the word of God.

As busy teenagers, we are constantly juggling with our school, sports, hobbies, friends, social media, and the list goes on. There is never enough time to do all thethe things we desire to do. Remember, all these things will not help you be successful until you put God above all these things.

So, before you get busy with the needs of your day, remember what will make you successful in life, it is the Word of God. Challenge yourself to increase your meditation time with the Lord (Bible reading & prayer). Wake up 30 minutes earlier than usual and set that time aside toto sit at the feet of the Lord. Commit all that you need to do that day into the Lord’s feet by prayer. Get yourself a good Bible reading plan, set goals to read your Bible and do it diligently. You will see our good Lord’s tremendous favor and wisdom come into your life and and you will be successful.

Beloved sisters in Christ,

My June greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In this month, the Lord is willing to speak with us through the verse that is below

Happy are you, O Israel!Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD,

The shield of your helpAnd the And the sword of your majesty!Your enemies shall submit to you,

And you shall tread down their high places.” – Deuteronomy 33:29

These words were spoken through Moses to Joshua and the Israelites. When Moses knew that his days were coming to an end, he encouraged Joshua and the Israelites to continuously move forward by saying these words. The Lord is telling three important things through this verse. I am willing to share that with you.

1.1. THE PRECIOUS ONES:

This verse tells that the Israelites are precious and blessed because they were saved by the Lord and they were set free from their captivity in Egypt. Moreover, they were the people who were led by the Lord. In order to make sure that Joshua and the Israelites never forget this, Moses reminds them. Today, the Lord is willing to remind the same thing to us. You are also washed by the blood of Jesus Christ, redeemed by His strong Hands and led by Him. So, never forget that you are precious

2. THE PROTECTED ONES:

InIn this verse [ Deut 33:29 ], the Lord says that He is your shield and the sword of your majesty. Moses tells the people of God that, God will be your protection. Like Moses said, the Lord protected Joshua and His people. In Joshua 1:5, the Lord encourages Joshua by saying, “No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life” and helped him to pursue forward. Today, God is able to be a shield to you and protect you also. It is the Will of God that you should also move forward and fulfill the plans of God in your life. The Lord will give you His protection for that. According to Psalm 121:7, the Lord willwill protect you from all harm. You are the protected ones by God. The Lord’s protection will continue to be with you, in your family, business and in your ministry.

3. THE LIFTED ONES:

In the last part of the verse [ Deut 33:29 ] Moses tells that, “ You shall tread down the high places of your enemies”. He means that the Israelites who are the children of God will be raised above their enemies. Like how Moses said, when Joshua and the Israelites crossed the river Jordon God gave them a great victory over their enemies. Likewise, in your life also the Lord will give you victory over all your challenges and enemies. He will bring them under your feet. No enemy shall overcome you according to Deuteronomy 28:13, the LORD will make you the head and not the tail. Therefore, do not be disappointed.

TThe Lord looks at you as His precious people like in this message. Hence, He will protect you in all situations. He will uplift you and keep you on high positions. Let the Lord bless you throughout this month. Amen.

You are precious to God7

“Fear not, for I am with you;I will bring your descendants from the east

and gather you from the west;”Isaiah 43:5 (NKJV)

InIn this verse, God is promising us that He will be with us. It is a great blessing that Almighty God is with us. He has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Why is God with us? Let us see what the second part of this verse tells us – “…I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west;”. God is with us because He wants to do some things in our life and through our life. In this month’s promise message, we are going to meditate on what are all the things God wants to do.

1. To Protect:

“Behold, I am with “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

Genesis 28:15 (NKJV)

When When Jacob left his house because he feared his brother, God spoke to him in his dream and told him that He will be with him wherever he goes and protect him. At that time Jacob did not have any idea about his future but God knew, so He gave him a dream and His promise. Just like God promised, God protected Jacob. His father-in-law Laban, was a cunning man and was not kind toward Jacob but even in this God protected him and blessed him. God saw Jacob’s hard work and rewarded the labor of his hands (Genesis 31:42). When Laban chased Jacob, God appeared to Laban and told him not to harm

On his way, Jacob heard that Esau was coming to meet him and he feared and divided his people into two companies (Genesis 32:7) and Jacob looked to the Lord and prayed, “…Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and attack me and the mother with the children. ..” (Genesis 32:9). The scripture tells us that God met him and blessed him (Genesis 32:29). Esau who went to meet Jacob and met him with concern, embraced him, kissed him and they wept together (Genesis 33:4). God promises Moses that He will be with him. Why God wants to be with Moses? The Lord wants to be with Moses to do awesome things. When God met Moses, who was a shepherd in the wilderness, God tells Moses that He will send him to Egypt to redeem his people (Exodus 3:10). At that time Moses tells the Lord that he is slow of speech and slow of tongue (Exodus 3:10) – Moses was giving his reasons for why he was not the right person for the job but God tells Moses I will be with you (Exodus 3:12). God then tells Moses that He will use the rod that is in Moses hand (the shepherd’s rod) to do signs (Exodus 4:17) and asks Moses to take the 4:17) and asks Moses to take the rod with him. No matter what the situation, God will be with you. The water and the fire represent instability and uncertainty. When you go through these situations, you will not know what is going to happen next and you may not know what the future holds. But our Heavenly Father says that, He will be with you to lead you and guide you. Joseph was a man who went through such a situation of instability and uncertainty. He was put in a ditch by his own brothers and then sold to the Midianites - his whole future would have been uncertain. But the scripture tells that when Joseph was sold as a slave in Potiphar’s house, God was withwith him (Genesis 39:2) and because God was with him God changed his situation and gave him hope and made him prosper. Even when he was wrongly accused by Potiphar’s wife and imprisoned, God was with him and protected him and brought him from the prison to the palace. Not only that but He raised Joseph up in Egypt and made him a blessing to many.
