For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. 4 He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.

• We learned that Isaiah is prophesying about the coming kingdom/church. • It would happen in the latter days, which Daniel 2 said would happen during the Roman Empire and Joel 2 said that God’s Spirit would be poured out in those days, which Peter said happened on the Day of Pentecost. • This kingdom would be established in Jerusalem and its word/law would go forth from that place, which is exactly what we see happening on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. • It is the greatest kingdom there is because it is eternal and offers those who are part of it eternal life in heaven.• It is a kingdom that is available for everyone who will seek it out. • When we live by its word/law, we will be at peace.
