What happens when problems are exposed?
Problem
Fix problem

Scrum
Responsibility Process

What would you like to change at work?
![Page 17: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/17.jpg)
Why has this not yet changed?

![Page 19: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/19.jpg)
The how-to model
Three keys to responsibility
1. Intention
2. Awareness
3. Confront
![Page 20: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/20.jpg)
Key one: intention
I will take responsibility for…
My own well-being
The working relations on this team
My family
World peace…
![Page 21: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/21.jpg)
Key two: awareness
Ooops, seems like I’m <blaming, justifying, …>
Feelings: Anger, upsets, …
Language: I can’t, I must, I should, that’s just the way it is, …
Look for:
![Page 22: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/22.jpg)
Key three: confront
What can I do about this?
How did I create this?What
do I want?
What can I learn from this?
![Page 23: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/23.jpg)
#%&!@!
I can see that you are justifying
Helping others to responsibility
![Page 24: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/24.jpg)
Can only be self applied!
Dissapointingly, you can’t tell others to
change
But on the other hand you don’t need
to!
Problems will be fixed anyway!
![Page 25: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/25.jpg)
What is your mindset?
Lay blame
(blame someone else)
Justify
(blame circumstances)
Shame
(blame yourself)
Obligation
(should, have to, must…)
Responsibility
What do I want? What can I do?
![Page 26: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/26.jpg)
What do you think?
Could this responsibility stuff also apply to
me?
![Page 27: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/27.jpg)
I don’t care to fix any problems
I get payedanyway
![Page 28: Is scrum incompatible with your brain](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022061220/54ba89be4a795957178b45e7/html5/thumbnails/28.jpg)
