    FOREWORD

    This Indian Standard ( Part 1 ) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards, after the draft finalized by the Bulk Handling Equipment Sectional Committee had been approved by the Heavy Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

    This data sheet is expected to provide a uniform practice for givirg details of the rail mounted ship loader to the manufacturer by the purchaser. It is expected that this data sheet will help the manufacturers in designing and offering the most suitable ship loaders to the purchaser according, to his requirements.

  • I Standard Mark I The use of the Standard Mark is governed by the provisions of the Bureau of Indian

    Standards Act, 1986 and the Rules and Regulations made thereunder.
