A spare cutter wheel in located inside thehandle.

The 200-30C also features a steel deburrerwhich folds into the body when not in use.


IRWIN TUBE CUTTERS200-45The extensive use of plastic pipe led tothe development of the 200-45 with anexceptionally thin cutting wheel and widerollers.

It will also cut copper pipe but its use shouldbe confined to one or the other material,since extended use in copper will reduce theeffectiveness of the cutting wheel onplastics.

CHAIN PIPE WRENCHESAPPLICATIONIrwin Chain Pipe Wrenches is used in confinedspaces, where the pipe is in a trench, againsta wall or close to other pipes.

Once the chain is looped arond the pipe and locked, the jaws will grip in the direction ofthe turn. The pipe can the be tightened orloosed with short strokes of the handle.

JAWSThe jaws are made from drop forged steelwhich is then hardened and tempered.

Only the front set of teeth bear on the pipewhich means that when these become worn,the jaws can be reversed, doubling the life ofthe tool.

HOW TO OPERATETo grip a pipe the frame is hinged backand the pipe located on the lower jaw.When the frame is hinged down a lockinghook automatically engages onto the sideof the base holding the vice firmly shut.

CHAIN PIPE VICESPOWERFUL GRIPIf the main feature of the hinged vice is speedof operation, the feature that distinguishesthe Chain Vice is a very powerful grip.

The pipe rests on a ”V” formed by two setsof drop forged, heat treated steel jaws.

The high tensile steel chain is then looped over the pipe, locked into a slot between thejaws and tensioned by and handle and ascrew; a strong rigid three-point locationwhich renders the pipe immoveable.
