I was born and raised in West Chicago, IL and attended West Chicago High School. I was a double sport athlete (football, basketball) all through high school. As a senior I had many pre-season accolades for football and was a team captain. I was throughly involved with the Church and my grandfather helped my brother and I start FCA on my high school campus. He opened up a Church every Sunday night for Bible study and sent us off to the FCA football camp in Indiana, every summer. I was blown away by what the Lord was doing in the lives of my friends through this ministry.

I attended Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota where I studied Business and continued to play football for four years. I met my beautiful bride (Kelly) after spending a summer home in Chicago, the summer of going into my Junior year. Kelly was attending Azusa Pacific out here in California. After a couple years of distance, I moved out to California in pursuit of a business career. A few days before I flew out for an interview, the Lord put FCA on my heart through a magazine article that was hanging from my dorm room about my Grandpa, and the ministry of FCA. The rest is history! I have been on staff since 2007 and loving every minute of it! Kelly and I got married on July 3rd 2010!

Currently Kelly and I attend Rock Harbor in Huntington Beach and are leaders for the young couples ministry. We love to stay active! We love to travel, work out, spend time with our friends. We both miss our families back in Chicago, but feel called to seek the lost in Southern California.

FOOTHILLHIGH SCHOOL

• 1,730 Students attend the FCA Huddle

COACHES MINISTRYAt the heart of FCA are coaches. Our role is to minister to these men and women by encouraging and equipping them to know and serve Christ.

CAMP MINISTRYCamps are a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for athletes and coaches to reach their potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training.

CAMPUS MINISTRYThe Campus Ministry is initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on middle school, high school and college campuses.

COMMUNITY MINISTRYFCA ministries reach the community through partnerships with the local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers. These ministries not only reach out to the community, but also allow the community to invest in athletes and coaches.

To present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.

• FCA is a medium in which at-risk student/athletes can be reached and encouraged by showing them the purpose and value of their life.

• More and more, the playing field is where young people discover what it means to be a man or woman.

• FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in the world.

FCA Camp at UCLA, as well as raise money for student athletes from underprivlidged familes to attend.

To have a presence on every available Junior High, High School and  College campus;  equipping, training and encouraging students, and adult  leaders to stand firm in Christ and to reach out to their friends.
