Let’s go to my site

http://pixel.csueastbay.edu/283001/albatana/project/All1/mainpage.html

The link above is the main webpage of “Irrashai”(my website)

Page 8: Irrashai powerpoint

The word “Irrashai”

In english “irasshaimase or Irrashai” means welcome or come on in.

It is often used to welcome customers.

This is how it is written いらっしゃいませ! -Irrashaimase!

And this is how I came up with the name “Irrashai”, to say ‘welcome to my page” and explore’

*My header is a clickable image that brings you back to the main page.*

Zoom - In

-> I put the contents on a container.->put box-shadow around it to separate the container to the white background image.

Page 13: Irrashai powerpoint

Japan and History->I placed the header and the navigation bar at the same place.-> citation: is in the bottom of the contents and the picture-> In Japan.html the fish is a gif->In History.html the pictures are set to float.

Page 14: Irrashai powerpoint

Culture and Things to do

Similarity:-both are in ordered list-both has a floating picture on left and right-when the picture is clicked, it’ll bring you to a site where I got the picture.

Culture:-simple and no other links

Things to do:-has an extra link that when clicked, brings you to the site of the place

Page 15: Irrashai powerpoint

Hot Spots

-Within the container I created two sections-pictures are also clickable(brings you to the source of the image)-Name of the place are also clickable(brings you to the place’s site)

Page 16: Irrashai powerpoint

Events and Fun Facts

-created by paragraphs and unordered list

Page 17: Irrashai powerpoint

Citation and Form

Citation:-I made a link for each that leads to where my pictures and contents came from-it is arranged in order so its easy to look at

Form:-arranged in two sections and centered

Page 18: Irrashai powerpoint

What I learned

I learned a lot of coding and css How to read codes How to link CSS and a Google Web

Font How to validate Techniques such as using

border: 1px solid black –it really helps setting up the overall placements

Page 19: Irrashai powerpoint

Useful Resource

The most useful resource I used was FLICKR (for the pictures)

To credit it I used link that directs to that site.

Most successful parts of my site

I think the most successful part of my site is the main page because there is a slide that (might) attract people to look at more of my website(thanks to Alyssa Adriano)

I might add more on my Events and Fun Facts page.
