    Original Irish Spring:

    If there is too muchwriting and graphics,the customer will look

    away and not look back.Making the design assimple and clean aspossible will make theproduct stand out formall the rest. Also, thepower of white space is

    a real, efective principlebut leaving two sidesof the box completelywhite does not utilizeall of the space of theproduct and it does notunify the overall design.

    It makes it chopping andincomplete. With thenew design, Irish Springsoap will have a “new”product to advertizeto the millennialgeneration.

    One smell can bring back

    countless memories. Thesmell of your childhoodhome or the smell ofrain. Irish Spring, forme, brings back manymemories I have with mygrandparents. I always

    smile when I see thisproduct because of theconnection I have to it.Irish Spring has been acommon household itemsince 1972. The companyslowly expanded over the

    years. Today, Irish Spring,sells soap bars, bodywash, and deodorant. Aproduct redesign wouldbe a great addition toincrease public awarenessand overall sells.

    The traditional Irish Spring

    soap bar box is busy andcrowded with information.The main goal is tomake the design simpleyet recognizable to themillennial generation.Thisdesired audience includes;

    college students andyoung parents. Irish Springhas been around for over40 years. In that time, theproducts have developedloyal customers in oldergenerations. That loyalty has

    been the reason behind thecompany’s success thus far.Now is the time to hit themillennial generation. It istime to build a new loyaltyto boost sells and enhanceIrish Spring’s success.
