Saturday July 26 - Day 2: Arrive Shannon airport. Depart for your first taste of local cuisine with a full Irish breakfast. Then head to the coast of County Clare to view the majestic Cliffs of Moher, which rise to heights of almost 700 feet above the churning Atlantic Ocean. Walk along the top of the Cliffs to O’Brien’s Tower for great views and enjoy the interesting Visitors’Center built into the side of a hill. Then take a drive through The Burren to experience its unique karst landscape. Head south to the lively town of Killarney where you will enjoy a horse drawn jaunting car ride to Killarney National Park. Welcome Dinner in hotel. Overnight Killarney (B,D) Sunday July 27 - Day 3 This morning view the highlights of Ireland’s natural beauty on the famous Ring of Kerry route. The road runs between the Macgillycuddy’s Reeks Mountains on one side and the Atlantic coastline on the other. Proceed to 19th century Bunratty Folk Park, set on 26 acres. The impressive park features over 30 buildings in a ‘living’ village and rural setting. Depart for Galway and check-in and dinner at the hotel in Galway. Overnight Galway (B,D)

Monday July 28 - Day 4 Start you day with a walking tour of Galway. Free time to shop and stroll though this lovely city. Dinner on your own tonight. Why not try some delicious “pub grub” and listen to some traditional Irish music? Overnight Galway (B)

Tuesday July 29 - Day 5: This morning enjoy a scenic drive with a stop in Donegal. A late lunch is included upon arrival in Letterkenny. Time to shop and explore this charming town at your leisure or take an excursion to the beautiful Slieve League, Europe’s highest cliffs. Dinner on your own and Fire in the Glen performance. Wednesday July 30 - Day 6: Head north this morning to Derry where a local guide will explain the long history of the city as well as 20th century events. Drive north along the scenic route with lovely views of mountains, valleys and coastline. Stop at the Giant’s Causeway, hexagonal columns formed by volcanic activity over 60 million years ago. The enormous rocks have spawned legends about the mythical giant, Finn McCool. Next take the exhilarating rope bridge to Carrick-a-Rede island and enjoy a truly clifftop experience. This 30-metre deep and 20-metre wide chasm is traversed by a rope bridge traditionally built by salmon fishermen. Visitors bold enough to cross to the rocky island are rewarded with fantastic views. Arrive in Belfast in time for dinner. Overnight Belfast (B,D)

Thursday July 31 - Day 7: Enjoy a panoramic city tour and learn about “The Troubles.” Then proceed to the new Titanic Belfast exhibition! Proceed to Newgrange, a prehistoric monument in County Meath, about one kilometre north of the River Boyne. It was built about 3200 BC, during the Neolithic period, which makes it older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids.
