We are pleased to present the detailed analysis of AT (Aptitude Test) held on 12 th , August 2012 for entry to the Five years Integrated Program in Management (IPM / IDM) at IIM Indore at various centres all over India.
The paper was divided in to two sections viz. Analytical ability and Verbal ability. The sections wise breakup of the test is as follows.
SECTION I
ANALYTICAL ABILITY
The questions in this section were based on Algebra, Arithmetic, Data Analysis, Geometry, Logical Reasoning, Modern Mathematics, Data Interpretation etc. In DI, questions were based on a table that involved calculation of percentage, ratio etc. There were two sets of LR with a total of 8 questions based on them. The sets were tough and time consuming.
In Maths, questions were based on the topics like series, logarithm, number systems, surds, Geometry etc. Difficulty level of the questions was high. (It was slightly surprising as the Sample Paper uploaded on IIM Indore website did not match the actual paper)
Ideal attempts in this section should be 28+.
