Moving and Grouping Apps

Watch this About.com video about how to move apps and create folders:http://video.about.com/ipad/How-to-Put-Apps-Into-Categories-on-an-iPad.htm

To move an app:

You can move apps from one page to the next. Simply touch the icon and hold it until all the icons on the screen begin to shake. With your finger pressed against the icon, you’ll notice it is a little larger than the other icons. This indicates you have “picked up” the icon and can now move it. Slide the icon wherever you would like it to be. Touch the Home Button to save.

you are placing it on the “dock” at the bottom of the page. You can put up to six icons on the dock- including folders.

● Hold down the icon as you would to move it. When it begins to shake, move it to the dock. When the other icons move over to make room, you can drop the app.
