THERMOSTATSThermostats are devices used on the engine cooling system to regulate the flow of refrigerant liquid, maintaining the engine on its optimal temperature. They have the function of maintaining constant the engine temperature, controlling the coolant flowing through the radiator, to balance the heat input to the circuit and the one transferred outside. By accelerating the preheating of the engine and adjusting the operating temperature, the thermostat extends the life of the engine, improves its performance and reduces fuel consumption and emissions. It is mounted inside a plastic or aluminium manifold located on the cylinder head of the engine.To meet temperature control needs under different operating conditions and to ensure a perfect adaptability to various vehicle models, CAUTEX offers diversified range of FACET thermostats, from the simplest to the latest generation, controlled by a control unit (map-controlled).
