General Policies
1. The building will open at 8:45 am.
2. Each student must bring his or her own snack or lunch (refrigerator is available for use to day campers). Invitation to the Dance Day Camp students should bring a snack, and SRB Ballet Dance Camp students should bring a lunch.
3. Students may bring non-breakable water bottles into class. Food and/or other beverages are allowed in designated snack areas only.
4. Parents are requested to come into the building to drop off and pick up Invitation to the Dance day camp students.
5. For their safety, students should wear street clothes and shoes when entering and leaving the Richmond Ballet building.
6. Absences should be reported to the teachers prior to the missed class at (804) 344-0906 ext 228.
7. The School is not responsible for lost or stolen personal property. Please leave all valuables at home. Please label dancewear with student’s name.
8. Dance is a strenuous activity. The School of Richmond Ballet suggests a complete physical prior to starting classes.

Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 12:00 noon
Designed for Ages 5 ½ - 8 Must be 6 years old by August 1st
Come and join us for an exciting Summer Experience! This week-long day camp features classes in age appropriate ballet technique emphasizing creativity, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Students will also explore all facets of the art of ballet, learning about the story, music, costumes, and scenery of a ballet. The week will culminate in an informal demonstration for parents.
Tuition Students may enroll in one or two weeks. There will be a different story ballet taught each week.
$200 for one week $350 for both weeks
Dress Code Girls
Short sleeve, scoop neck leotard Pink, footed ballet tights or white ankle socks Pink leather ballet shoes Hair should be pulled back neatly from the face in
a ballet bun or pony tail
Boys Black knit shorts White t-shirt Black leather ballet shoes White socks
Parent Observation
Parents are invited to observe the class on Friday from 11:30am-12:00pm.

SRB Ballet Dance Camp

Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 2:00pm
Designed for Ages 8½ - 12 who have completed one year in our Lower Level Ballet classes OR who have studied Ballet for a minimum of one year elsewhere.
Come join us for a challenging and exciting summer program! Our week-long dance camp features classes in Ballet, Theatre Dance, Character Dance and Music. Classes are held at the Richmond Ballet, in spacious air conditioned studios, which provide the perfect setting for a variety of dance classes and theatrical experiences under one roof. SRB Ballet Dance Camp students are divided into groups according to their current ballet level.
Tuition Students may enroll in one or two weeks.
$275 for one week $450 for both weeks $225 per week if taken with The School of Richmond Ballet Summer Session Classes.
Dress Code
Each student must bring a notebook, pencil, and appropriate dancewear for Ballet, Character Dance and Theatre Dance classes: Girls
Short sleeve, scoop neck leotard Pink ballet tights with pink leather ballet shoes Hair should be in a ballet bun Jazz pants, jazz shoes and character dance skirts are optional, not required for Theatre Dance and Character Dance classes.
Boys Black knit shorts or dance tights with a white t-shirt Black leather ballet shoes with white socks Jazz pants and jazz shoes are optional, not required for Theatre Dance and Character Dance classes.
Parent Observation Parents are invited to observe a final demonstration on Friday from 1:15pm-2:00pm.
Please note that this program is not for beginners.
Eligible students must have either completed one year in
our Lower Level Ballet Classes or a minimum of one year of
ballet elsewhere.
