INVITATION FOR BIDS The City Of Alamosa, Colorado, will accept bids until May 31, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time, at the Public Works Department, located at 300 Hunt Avenue, Alamosa, Colorado at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and all bid prices read aloud for furnishing labor and construction for the project entitled “2016 Richardson Utility Replacement Project”, This project is briefly described as follows: All labor and equipment for replacement of existing Utilities: 1,300 L.F. of water main, 476 L.F. of Sewer line, 85 L.F. of storm Drain Line, 12 Water, and 5 Sewer services. The City of Alamosa; Will Supply All Materials for project. All Bids must be submitted, and all work done in full compliance with: Specifications for the project Any special provisions for this project The 2012 City of Alamosa Standard Construction Specifications, as amended Envelopes containing the bid proposal shall be addressed as follows: Patrick Steenburg Public Works Director Department of Public Works City of Alamosa Post Office Box 419 Alamosa, Colorado 81101 Bids may be hand-delivered to Public Works Department, 300 Hunt Avenue. Only those bids received by the Public Works Department on or before May 31, 2016 2:00 p.m., Mountain Standard Time will be eligible for consideration. Any bid received after the closing time, regardless of the method of delivery, shall be returned unopened to bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn after closing time. The successful bidder will be required to complete the work outlined herein and depicted on the project plans by June 30th, 2016. The low bidder shall supply the names and addresses of subcontractors when required to do so by the Owner. All work is to be guaranteed for a period of one year following final acceptance. No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date fixed for bid opening. The City Of Alamosa reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids submitted and to accept whichever bid that is in the best interest of the City, at its sole discretion.
