Welcome to the International Academy for Investigative Psychology’s 17th inter-

national conference, hosted by the Investigative Psychology Research Unit at

John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City.

The International Academy for Investigative Psychology is a leading profession-

al academy for researchers and practitioners seeking to apply social science to

the investigation and legal processes.

Our 2016 conference theme specifically focusses on the intersection between

research and practice, and will showcase on the latest developments within In-

vestigative Psychology and is an excellent opportunity for both researchers and
