How do I search for Multimedia?How do I search for Multimedia?Typically you will use the Search Bar if you want to search for a particular topic.

Use the Subject Search if you are trying to get ideas on how to present a subject.

Use the Grade Search if you are trying to get ideas on how to present to a particular grade.

When you search you can specify what type of media you are looking for. Typically you would search for All Content but you might want to restrict your results to full videos, video segments, or audio clips.

You can perform an advanced search by keyword, media type, subject, grade, etc.

You can search by NY Curriculum Standards.

Your search results are shown on the right. The title is listed, the length of the video, a description about the video, what grades the video applies to, how many segments the video can be broken into, the year created, and if there are any guides or standards that apply.

You can filter these results further by selecting the Media Type on the Left.

The video segments are listed below the title of the video. If you click on the title of the clip, the screen on the left will display a

picture as to where the clip starts. You can also play or download the individual segments

The entire video is initially selected and shown in the screen on the left.

If you would like to play the entire video, click on the play button next to the video title or the play button on the screen on the left.

If you would like to download the whole video, click on the icon that looks like a floppy disk.

Media Settings allow you to choose if you want to play the video in windows media

player or quicktime and if you want to enable closed captions.
