DESCRIPTION

A clear concise guide through a way of looking at the Subtle Bodies. Physical, Etheric, Vacuum, Emotional, Mental, Astral, Spiritual and Soul are outlined and proposed using analogies and comparisons. The presentation encourages further research and reading as it is important for people to create their own analogy and understanding. Part of the Framework Dowsing Courses and Classes support material. http://www.frameworkdowsing.co.uk/ An understanding of the Subtle Bodies is necessary to use the MultiTreat computer application for distance healing otherwise know as Radionic treatments.

Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

Using analogies to help grasp a complicated subject

Jane Radford

Page 2: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

2

Using analogies is a good way to gain a concept

of a complex and interconnected subject

Page 3: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

3

It took me some time to feel comfortable with my concept of the Subtle Bodies

There is a lot of information out there

Page 4: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

4

I spent a lot of time researching, reading and recording…..

Page 5: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

5

……and trying to make sense of a very complicated subject covered

by many cultures and practitioners

who have varying ways of understanding,

naming and describing this field

Page 6: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

6

Remember to take some time to find what feels right and

works for you

Page 7: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

7

Here is a nest of small woven baskets. They could be used to create a basic understanding of the subtle bodies.

Page 8: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

8

We could take the smallest of these to represent the physical body

This is the body of matter. The majority of us

are aware of the physical - via our

5 senses and internal neural

pathways. It has mass, texture and a sense of

solidity.

Page 9: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

9

The following are often referred to as the Subtle Bodies

They are said to be in increasingly tenuous states

This is in a similar way to water existing asSolid – ICE

Liquid – WATERLiquid suspended in air – WATER VAPOUR

Elemental compounds – HYDROGEN & OXYGEN

Or a piano keyboardThe same note is repeated along the length of the keyboard

with a different pitch occurring within each octave

Page 11: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

11

It follows that …..

if a condition, location or the biochemistry can be treated at the physical level…..

…..it can also be treated – if indicated – at any of the other subtle levels

Page 12: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

The Etheric Bodyis a duplicate of the body physical with which it channels information, energies and stimuli into and within. Some refer to this energy as ‘Life Force’It is integrated into and throughout the body physical and remains for a period of time after parts of the physical have been removed e.g. amputation of limbs/organs or cutting away parts of a plant or leaf – ‘Phantom Leaf Effect’

12

Page 13: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

13

The Vacuum or InterfaceSeen to lie or interface between the

Etheric and Emotional bodies

It does not contain ‘Nothing’ !A field of infinite potential energy which connects everythingWhere the transition into and out of physical matter is said to

occur – the interplay of Formative and Release Forces

Emotional Body

Self descriptive in title

Physical sensations in the body arise from different emotions e.g.

Butterflies in stomachDry mouthMusic and relaxation or stimulation to move/dance

Mental attitudes are affected by our experiences – the greater the emotional link the stronger the ‘learning’ or memory of that experienceThe emotional aspect of ourselves is frequently utilised both in our reaction to life experiences and in response to our mental attitudes

Page 15: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

15

The Mental Body

Repeated thoughts (both positive and negative) influence and mould both the higher subtle bodies and affect the lower bodies, including the physical

Thoughts create vibrations or ‘ripples’ within the mental body.

Page 16: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

16

Different Aspects of the Mental Body

Subdivided in physiology, psychology ….. and also esoteric understanding.

The Mental Body is frequently seen as being

comprised of differing levels.

Responses of the Mental Body manifest physically as symptoms and sensations

The basic function is to keep us safe by learning from our ‘mistakes’

Higher functions include the development of empathy and spiritual understanding

Page 17: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

17

Astral Body

Many people consider the Astral body to be, or to encompass the Emotional Body

In the Framework Dowsing for Health Courses it is acknowledged in it’s own right

It is more developed in cultures where reincarnation and esoteric beliefs are common and accepted

It acts as a protection from past-life memories which are held in the Causal Body

Page 18: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

18

Spiritual Level

The development of a pathway to the Soul

The acknowledgement of ourselves as conscious beings and the connection with a

creative power greater than ourselves

Page 19: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

19

Causal BodyCarries the past life experiences of numerous

incarnations so that they have an implication on the current life in physical form

It is moulded and changed by our attitudes to life’s difficulties and opportunities

Page 20: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

20

The Soul

There are many names for this level but it is said to be our true self without the contortions of life’s emotional,

mental, ego or personality effectsPast, present and future do not exist separately.

The divine ‘spark’ within all of us‘God particle’ ‘Higher Self’

Page 21: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

21

This outline presents the subtle bodies as consisting of layers …..

Page 22: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

22

It is merely a map for something far more complicated for the human brain to understand and put into words

It is not easy to see the whole

picture from our restricted viewpoint

Page 23: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

23

The Subtle bodies are moving, living and pulsing and are affected by numerous influences and interactions.

Page 24: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

24

In our analogies so far we have represented the subtle bodies as layers

However, they are not defined separate entities but

inter-related, inter-acting and inter-affecting

Page 25: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

25

The more accurate we wish to be about the state of the subtle bodies the less accurate we can

be about how long they will remain in that state

Page 26: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

26

Create your own analogyWe hope this has given you a good

basis from which …..

….. to keep researching and building on information as you progress with

your work and experience

Page 27: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

27

Your knowledge will then grow steadily over time

Do not let spaces in your understanding hold you up from getting started with further work

Page 28: Introduction to the Subtle Bodies

Our presentation is A WAY of looking at the Subtle Bodies. It is not THE WAY

Yours will be different……
