VoIP SLICs

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) SLICs create telephone lines at the customer’s premises but connect to the PSTN via an internet connection.

Fixed Voltage

SLIC Protection

The SLIC provides ringing signal from a low voltage battery using an integrated DC-DC converter.

The ring voltage may be software controlled, but is usually fixed for any particular application.

Therefore, fixed voltage protection is the best solution.
