High temperature insulation composed of hydrous calcium silicate

RainJacket® System

RainJacket System Features & Benefits

• Faster, easier installation due in part to:

– A factory applied weather resistant jacket with a

self sealing joint lap

– Less banding required

– Three foot sections, tee’s and elbows (90’s & 45’s)

• Stable supply and pricing avoids the metal market

volatility

• Tighter system due to adhered impermeable jacket

minimizing water intrusion

RainJacket Elbows

• Elbows available in Tee’s, 90’s & 45’s

Ells arrive in two half

sections with tabs on

both the heel and throat.

Just apply to pipe and

seal tabs. Then run the

pressure sensitive tape

provided lineally on heel

and throat.

IIG Insulation Products

A rigid, high-temperature pipe and

block insulation with exceptional

corrosion-inhibiting properties. For

use on systems operating up to 1200°F

(649°C), it is recommended for industrial

processing and power generating

facility applications using stainless

steel piping.

Perlite Pipe & Block Insulation

Corrosion Rate (Mils/Year) of Carbon Steel when tested with DI Water and 1ppm and 5ppm Chloride Water.

Corrosion Rate less than three indicates the Rate of the tested materials were less than that caused by DI water. Therefore it inhibits corrosion.

Corrosion Rates (Mils/Year) of Carbon Steel when tested with various ASTM C871 extractions, DI water, 1ppm and 5ppm Chloride Water.

Average of Measured Corrosion Rates

Made from inorganic fibers derived from basalt, a

volcanic rock, with a thermosetting resin binder.

Prominent Features:

• Excellent thermal performance up to 450°F (230°C)

(process/planet)

• Maximum temperature limitation of 1200°F (650°)

• Light weight and easy to handle and install
