UIDAI UIDAI(Unique identification authority of India)

was notified by the planning commission on 28 January , as an attached office under the planning commission .UIDAI will be the regulatory authority managing a central identities data repository (CIDR) which will issue Aadhaars , update resident information and authenticate the resident information as required.

Head of the Family

If the family member don't have documents, they can be introduced by the Head of the Family

HOF acts as an introducer and should have any one of these documents.

On selection of HOF verification, ‘Relationship to resident’ field is mandatory

Introducer’s Confirmation

In case of Introducer-based verification, “Confirm introducer later” check box is displayed at the “Introducer’s Confirmation” section.

When “Confirm introducer later” checkbox is set to True, the application disables the Capture button displayed under “Introducer’s Confirmation” section and allows you to complete the enrolment process without capturing the introducer biometric details.

Word of Caution

Introducer’s confirmation has to happen within 10 days of Enrolment

Supervisor’s confirmation has to happen within 2 days of Enrolment……

Failing which……

The respective packages will be rejected.

Exception Capturing

Any handicap of fingers and eyes which does not allow biometrics to be captured is treated as a biometric exception.

Temporary injuries to eyes and fingers may also be treated as biometric exception.

The Correction Process

Correction of demographic data of any resident can be done within 96 hrs of enrolment with submission of relevant documents

Aakash, a child whose DOB is 02-06-2006 comes at the Enrolment Center for enrolment. Rakesh the operator entered his DOB as 02-06-2008.Aakash ‘s father come the next day and request for the correction of DOB . Can this be corrected ?
