Introduction: Primary school completionratesLet us have a closer look at some of the differences between countries. The table below shows the year bywhich the primary completion rate will be in excess of 97 per cent, for different countries. The 2014 GlobalMonitoring Report mentioned above also analysed the trends in the completion rates for primary education fordifferent countries. It made estimates about when universal primary education might be achieved for differentgroups of students (differentiated by gender and location: rural versus urban).
