IntroductionIn the whole year of physics I learned a lot of things y favorite unit was sound, my second

favorite unit was history of science/ the scientific method. Since I started physics I

started looking at the world different.

My favorite unit/ project in the whole year was sound. Sound was my favorite topic out the whole year. I think it’s my favorite because I was interested about sound and I got the topic very well. Another reason why I was interested about sound because I wanted to know everything related to sound. Like how sound travels, how sound works, how ears work, what cells in our ears are more important, why people become deaf, what is a hearing aid, why does a hearing aid help?

How does the hearing aid work? Do all hearing aids work the same? How hearing aids are made? What is a cochlear implant? What is a hearing aid? How can hearing aids help? How does someone receive a cochlear implant? Are here different levels of hearing loss?

Things I learned in physics

The hearing aid works by receiving sound through a microphone, it converts the sound waves into electrical signals. After that it sends them to the amplifier, the amplifier increases the power of the signals than send them to the speaker.

Hearings aids work differently depending on the electronics used. The two main types of electronics are analog and digital.

How does hearing aids work and do they all work the same?

A hearing aid is a small electonic device that you wear behind your ear. It makes some sounds louder so that a person with hearing losss an listen and communicate. The hearing can help people hear ore in both and quiet and noisy.

What is a hearing aid?

A hearing aid is when the audiologist take a imprint of the patients ear.

They make the mold and than put in all the electrical parts which are

Volume control, mircophone, battery, speaker and wires attached to different parts of the hearing aid.

How are hearing aids made?

Hearing aids are primarily useful. Hearing aids help improving the hearing and speech compreshension of people who have hearing loss. The hearing aid helps the sound vibrations enter the ear. The hearing aid can help more people hear louder and clear.

How can hearing aids help?

A cochlear implant is a small, electronic device that can help send sound to a person who is profoundly deaf or severely. The implant sits behind the ear and a second portion that is surgically placed under the skin. The implant had three different parts.

Mircrophone A speech processor A transmitter and receiver An electrode array

What is a cochlear implant?

When someone wants to receive a cochlear implant it requires a surgical procedure and therapy. The person needs therapy to learn or relearn the sense of hearing

How does someone receive a cochlear implant?

There are four different levels for being deaf. Mild hearing loss Moderate hearing loss Severe hearing loss Profound deafness

Are there different levels for hearing hearing loss?
