Introducing the St John Internship Program From March 2015 St John is introducing a new Program to support graduate personnel transitioning from EMT to Paramedic Authority to Practice (ATP) level. How it works Precepting Up to 40 shifts (3 months) 1:1 with preceptor Clinical Supervision Up to 40 shifts (3 months) indirect supervision by preceptor Hold provisional ATP Clinical Assessment Day Skill Stations Simulation Clinical Interview ATP Issued At new practice level Each phase of the internship program requires successful completion prior to moving to the next phase How to be an Intern We are accepting expressions of interest from graduate personnel who wish to apply to be paramedic interns in the Internship Program pilot. Do you have what it takes to be an Intern? Are you an EMT who has completed a Bachelor in Health Science in Paramedicine? Does your line manager support your transition to Paramedic ATP? Are you passionate and motivated to deliver clinical excellence?
