foR bookselleRs:

• Pick an event date that will be convenient for local parents and kids and promote through mailings, e-newsletters,your website, and community outreach. The included flyer will come in handy! (Consider posting it in the neighborhood, on bulletin boards in local businesses or churches, and anywhere kids and parents gather.)

• Print plenty of the reproducible materials included in the kit and gather additional supplies.• Consider partnering with your local schools and inviting classes to participate. They may also be open to hosting a

larger event at which you could sell books. • If you don’t have a large space where all the kids can participate at the same time, it may be best to arrange

activity stations around the store. • If possible, it’s always great to provide “little” snacks (maybe some fresh veggies and dip, “Wise” owl potato

chips, or even pink pig cupcakes!)• Don’t forget to snap pictures for your website, blog, bulletin boards, and memories! foR public libRaRies:
