Happy New Year to all!
Okay so it may be a little late for the Champaign and fireworks, but it is never too late for a bit of flute beatboxing fun from our friend Greg Patillo ( New years resolution - add beatboxing to my practice).
With February approaching, schools returning, universities preparing and concerts begining we would like to wish you a Happy, Healthy and Flute Filled 2013

Introducing our Queensland Flute Specialists
Layla Majewski is a professional performer, recording artist and teacher. Following a music placement at University High School Melbourne, Layla expanded her piano studies with the addition of flute/piccolo, saxophone and voice.
We look after our customers, Australia wide, through a network of experienced and knowledgeable flute teachers and players.. With a ‘hand picked’ selection of the finest flutes the World has to offer, and the expert advice, help and guidance of our new Queensland consultants, we are looking forward to helping you find the best flute for you.
Paul Dhasmana is a professional flute performer, teacher and
practicing Audiologist. Holding a Master of performance from the University of Sydney and a Master of Music from the Royal College of Music London.
Graduating from Qld Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Performance. Augmenting her skills with studies in Mandarin, Auslan and guitar, Layla completed a Bachelor of Education (music for Primary, Secondary & special needs) in 2002, taught classroom music for 6 years and is a registered government school teacher. Following 2½ years of living and teaching in Paris, Layla has recently returned to her business, Brookfield Music School which she established in 1996. Layla also performs as a member of the Cereus Quartet. With a passion for engaging all in music, Layla’s informed and considered advice is all you need, as you play and compare a variety of flutes and piccolos to select the perfect instrument for you.

Paul has extensive performing experience on flute and piccolo, having worked with such orchestras as the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, and as Principal Piccolo in the Queensland Symphony Orchestra for 3 years full-time.
As a teacher Paul has taught both in Australia and in the UK, and is currently a flute tutor at Cannon Hill Anglican College (CHAC). Recently, Paul completed the Master of Audiology Studies from the University of Queensland and is currently an audiologist at Brisbane Hearing. A keen ear, extensive performing experience, and dedication to supporting flute players in their development, makes Paul an ideal guide as you search for the most suitable instrument.
