Dave Tolliver: Whassup everybody! We(MEN AT LARGE) have the new albumcoming out called Back On Top We aretrying to bring the love back to music. Weare trying to bring back the real R&Bbecause you know every song that peopleare jamming to right now is a stripperanthem. The real deal is that everybodycant Pop Lockn Drop It. Everybodycant Yule. You know cats got artificiallimbs you know what I am saying. Butyou can always tell that someone how youfeel about them. The new album is outright now. I am also nominated for bestmale vocalist. Dave Tolliver: Me and Joe Little are go-ing to do a tribute to Gerald Levert.

Dj Quest95: I have a quick questionthat I have been asking all the artists.I your opinion what are the differ-ences or similarities between rap andhip hop?

Dave Tolliver: Hip-hop is the culture, way of life. Some rap is good somerap is bad right now I am saying thatit time to switch gears and change thepace right now. If you want me to getpolitical and serious about then in myopinion we are dumbing down ourkids man and we are loosing them. Itsalready enough that the educationalsystem is horrible. The parents are notteaching them at home we cant justfault the educational system but wekeep making these same records thatkeep making our kids stupider andstupider. Like Soulja Boy. Dont getme wrong I like the song. I canSuperman but what is he really say-ing? What is Wah me yule? If youcant rap and put words together dra-matically, phonetically, lyrically, or ifyou cant sing for real then you dontdeserve a record deal. I dont carehow many six packs you got. Howlight skinned and pretty or how bigyour ass is. I am just saying. There aresome ugly cats in the game. It shouldreally be about the art and it is time toreally take it back. I know that there isa lot of people that really believe inthe art but the art form is a lost cultureright now. That is what we are reallytrying to do with this project.

  • From the beginning, Nicole Rhodes,a.k.a, "Notice," has been a person that hasbeen a pacesetter rather that a follower. InJanuary of 2007, "Notice" reemerged onthe music scene with the album single, "Onthe flo'." She immediately began to floodthe streets her new song while performingat shows for audiences around the region.Within a couple months, Nicole has ac-complished more than the average per-former could have with a year head start! The single, "On the flo'," has receivednational airplay in Detroit, Florida, and inCleveland, OH. The uncut video (includedwith the CD) has been aired on Cinemaxand she is in the process of launching herrecord label, Scream at me records. Vo-cally speaking, there is not another artistthat can measure up to her diversity. Shecombines singing and hip-hop lyricisminto a style, called "Swagga Funk," thatpurely captivates you. Born Aquilia Unique Kern, Unyque isconsidered one of the top up and comingR&B/ Hip Hop artists in Ohio and possi-bly the country. As a child listening tomusical influences like Whitney Houston,Jodeci, Journey and Billie Holiday, Uny-que didnt just sing and mimic the vocalabilities of others, she created her ownstyle. Having kept a mental diary of herlife growing up within the urban blocks ofthe Superior area, she used the experi-ences of her young life to cultivate hersuperb lyrical prowess combining bothR&B as well as Hip Hop with her naturalold school soul that will be viewed astimeless by her male and female fans whohave similar experiences.
