Font Classifications
SERIFFonts whose letterforms have small elements added
to the ends of their main strokes. A more traditional
style whose origin dates back to chiseled type in stone.

SANS-SERIFFonts whose letterforms do not have serifs and
appear more simple and geometric. A modern style
which attempts to be more generic and universal.

ScriptFonts that appear to have been hand lettered with a
calligraphy pen or brush. Letters connect, flow and are
usually inclined.

DISPLAYFonts whose letterforms do not conform to a single rule. Design
of these letters can be more creative and playful, and is usually
used for titles rather than longer sentences that are set in
paragraphs.
