than one thing well.2. No leader does all 21 Laws of Leadership well.
Ask Yourself These Questions
Where am I as leader today?What areas of my leadership have taken for granted and need to sharpen?What is the one thing that is holding back the dream of God has put on my heart?
Some Things Never Change
Always remember these ideas:1. The Laws of Leadership can be learned. Some are
easier to understand and apply than others, but everyone of them can be required.
2. The Laws can stand alone . Each law complements all others, but you don’t need one in order to learn another.
3. The Laws carry consequences with them. Apply the laws and people will follow you. Violate or ignore them and you will not be able to lead others.
4. These Laws are the foundation effective leadership. Once you learn the principles, you have to practice them and apply them to your life.
5. The Laws are not based on culture , gender or age. Whatever a leader’s culture , age or gender, the Laws are applicable.
6. The Laws stand the age of time. Generation after generation , the Laws are unchanging.
The Leadership JourneyThe Apostle Paul was a leader with exceptional skills and resolute obedience to the vision he had received from God, but a godly heart was clearly the foundation of his leadership.
As you begin your study of the Laws of
Leadership, keep these guidelines in mind.1. The study and application of the Laws of
Leadership will require test and tenacity.2. Learning the Laws will require a daily
commitment to personal and professional growth.
3. Applying the Law will require a willingness to admit weaknesses and to embrace change
