Works in a K-12 educational institution that includes grades 6-12 with 150 middle school students and 450 high school students. 14 years of K-12 educational experience in Shelby County Schools System. Which is one of the largest school districts in Tennessee. Experience includes the role of: teacher, counselor, graduation coordinator, and now, technology coordinator. Technology coordinator role for 2 years at current institution. 6. What is the role of theTechnology Leader? Financially supported by the School Board of Educators. Technology mentoring is included in the new teacher orientation program. It helps the educators as well as the technology leader. Its always fun to see teachers experience a new way of helping students learn. The most stressful part is when technological issues occur in the middle of the lesson and teachers panic because the issue isnt able to be corrected immediately.
