Recruitment chairs should work through their Dean/Division Head to understand the recruitment expense budget for each recruitment. Recruitment committees are allowed up to two hosted meals per candidate and for each candidate meal, no more than two employees may be reimbursed, unless an exception is granted by the dean/division head. The meal maximums per UW’s Host Meals policy are (including 15% gratuity): o Breakfast $12/person o Lunch $18/person o Dinner $30/person Meals should be tax exempt. If you need a tax exempt card, please contact Dolly Jackson. Alcohol cannot be reimbursed from State Funds. The following attachments must be attached to the expense report. One option for booking candidate travel is Debbie Talbott. She is the UW System Administration Onsite Travel Agent and can work with the candidate to book their travel conveniently and within UW System policy. The request form for her services and instructions can be found on the Reservation Options page of TravelWIse (https://uw.foxworldtravel.com/reservation-options/). Interview Expenses FAQ Sheet
