INTERNSHIP AND PLACEMENT 2017 BATCH STATS

Internships

The fourth and nal semester of the course is designed to give industry exposure to the students. Students are required to undergo a mandatory 5-6 month internship to apply the concepts learned in class. The internship semester is a unique feature of the course and helps students to test the waters before they deep dive in the realm of analytics.

Placement Overview of the rst batch

Students from the premier batch of PGDBA experienced a successful placement process as companies from various industries participated and handpicked candidates suitable for both data-driven and business driven analyst roles. Though it was only the rst ever placement process of the program, it witnessed involvement from fortune 500 companies such as American Express, Walmart Labs, United Health Group, JPMC. Each company offered a unique role which ranged from technical roles of Senior Data Scientist to managerial roles of Analytics Manager.
