new technology. • Understand privacy policies – check your

settings often.• Make sure your anti-virus software stays up-

to-date, run scans often.• Don’t save passwords. • Clean out your cookie file routinely.

number.• Don’t post GPS whereabouts (Foursquare).• Establish daily time limits for internet and cell use.• Establish clear guidelines for posting content, pictures

and videos.• Never meet anybody offline you don’t personally know.• Use privacy settings, parental controls and check them

often.
