In our International Week 2020 we will focus on aestheticlearning processes such as learning outside the schooland making expressive art and music.
We will learn new things about each other, our futureteaching profession and ourselves.
This course is aimed for early childhood educators andteachers within pre- school, primary and lowersecondary education.
PROGRAMME*
Sunday, 26 AprilArrival to Esbjerg.Visit www.rejseplanen.dk to plan your journey.
Monday, 27 AprilWe will meet each other and get to know one another. Youwill be introduced to the international week. During theday we will work in our art room.
Tuesday, 28 AprilWe will spend the day working with “Play Lab”. Moreover,we will look into other aspects of creative learning.
We will have a culture night and you will prepare localspecialties from your own country and together we willenjoy each other’s culinary customs.
Wednesday, 29 MayWe will spend all day outside, experiencing the concept ofOutdoor Learning. We promise you a fantastic day filledwith exciting activities!
Thursday, 30 MayWe will spend the day visiting local kindergartens andschools. We will end the day with a "Hot Dog Night".
Friday, 1 MayWe will use the day summing up and evaluating the week.

Please read this important practical information aboutInternational Week.
Please bring a local culinary specialty from your countryor a recipe. So that you can cook some samples of yourlocal food. Due to limited kitchen facilities we advise forthe recipes to be simple.
Be prepared to make a short presentation of yourself inEnglish, summarizing the aims and values of your schoolsystem at home.
Remember to bring appropriate clothes for outdoor aswell as creative activities.
Place:This year’s International Week will take place on CampusEsbjerg and the city of Esbjerg and its surroundings willbe the base of this week’s activities.
Accommodation:We will make sure that accommodation is booked for you.Please note that accommodation is not included in theparticipation fee.
Price:The participation fee for this week is 100 EURO whichmust be paid in advance through bank transfer. Thiscovers the activities stated in the programme. Meals andaccommodation are not included and is at your ownexpense.
ECTS:You will receive 1 ½ ECTS points for participating in thecourse.
