One of our most important fun events is next Friday starting after morning break. We hope as many of you as possible will be able to join us in your national costume. P1-2 will join the whole school for the parade and photo and will then have their own special activities in the P1-2 area. P3-M5 will join together for their activities after the family lunch and D1-2 will run their own stall as part of the fun. If you can, please send in food from your country to share at lunchtime.

This week saw MYP and DP students travel to Eton House S u z h o u f o r a b a s k e t b a l l competit ion. The result is following: Our MYP team lost 6:7 Our DP team won 16 : 4

Yearbook Cover Design

This year’s Yearbook has a “Jungle” theme and we are looking for student contributions for the front and back cover that show our theme. It can be in any format for example: painted, drawn, on the computer, a mosaic etc. Please give entries to Ms Tan, the deadline is 7th May (the first day back after the May holiday).

PYP Evaluation Visit Student Led Conferences

23rd to 25th April will see visitors in school from IB PYP to carry out the compulsory two year evaluation of our programme. The evaluation team will be looking at all aspects of PYP from planning to teaching and learning, assessment, staff training and resources. Thank you to the parents who have agreed to come to school to talk to the visitors.

Starting the week beginning 14th May. This is a time for you to come to school and talk to your child about the work they have been doing this year. Your child will show you the classrooms they use, the work they have produced and explain about the units they have studied. This is a very important occasion for the PYP students and we hope you will all be able to support your child.
