PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Students will uncover the secret history of the island's environmental and cultural transformation through the centuries, analyzing how globalization has set new challenges for the preservation of rapa nui language and traditions.
Students will take on a leadership position by helping with sustainable environmental projects around the island, this program will have an on-site approach with practical goals set for each day.
Students will immerse in the local tradition, music, and folk stories of the Rapa Nui community to reach an in depth knowledge and experience the island from the perspective of locals.
Students will explore and discover archeological sites guided by experts who will unveil the mysteries behind the achievements of the rapa nui civilization.
