Launched by South Africa, South Korea and Germany at the PetersbergClimate Dialogue in 2010, the Partnership encourages countries to step up mitigation ambition and carry out the transformation to a sustainable low-carbon society.
It facilitates the exchange of good practice on mitigation-related experiences and MRV between climate negotiators, policymakers and practitioners from more than 90 developing and developed countries in order to share learning, build trust and inform the United Nations Climate negotiations.
