• Work with the American Council of Education (ACE) as a member of their 2012-2014 learning community
• develop a strategic plan for comprehensive internationalization that will help Villanova University strengthen our global leadership and engagement.

Internationalization Laboratory?
an invitational learning community that assists participating institutions to develop a capacity, capability, and strategy for comprehensive internationalization, which is infusing an international/intercultural dimension to all aspects of teaching, learning, research, service, and outreach. Involvement lasts 16-20 months.
What is the on-campus work of the
Internationalization Laboratory?
• An internationalization review to catalog and analyze what the institution is doing
• The articulation of student global learning goals and a method to understand how the institution’s activities impact student learning
• A communication plan to develop stakeholder buy in and participation and keep the community informed and engaged
• The integration of the results of the review and the learning goals process into a strategic internationalization plan

campus• Collecting and analyzing information as a basis for an
internationalization plan• Identifying strengths, weaknesses, gaps and possibilities for new
