The IFLC is a prominent organization that promotes world languages and cultures worldwide. Promotion of language and culture is essen-tial to achieve peaceful and cohesive societies for sustainable peace supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goal #16. The IFLC aims to create a platform for youth to build long lasting friendships, mutual understanding, harmony, and a peaceful world for all.

International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) is a peacebuilding project among youth that was founded in 2003 with the participation of 17 countries. Last year, the IFLC was hosted by 21 countries with a total of 2000 participating youth from 145 countries. The IFLC aims to con-tribute to the United Nations SDGs Goal # 16 promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
