RALLY If everyone respects and protects other’s rights, the notion of deprivation will be caved in the museum. The slogan for this year’s International Human Rights Day “Stand Up for Someone’s Rights Today” reflects an appeal to protect human rights through mutual respect to other’s rights. Bandhu Social Welfare Society has observed this Human Rights Day in befitting manner in all divisional cities across the country with the support and lead of USAID’s HRID Project. The central event in Dhaka was observed jointly with National Human Rights Commission Bangladesh. Mr. Kazi Reazul Hoque the honorable Chairman of NHRC led the central rally. Approximately 700 primary stakeholders of USAID’s HRID project participated in central and divisional rallies which were followed by discussion meetings. USAID’s HRID project had Ain-Alap booth at the event venue in Dhaka to display, promote and distribute Bandhu’s legal help line number and other knowledge materials on legal support.
