PhD IN LAW, EDUCATION ANDDEVELOPMENT
The PhD PROGRAM
Organization
Doctoral studies aim to provide advanced
education to the candidate with research
techniques, including the preparation,
presentation and defense of a Ph.D. Thesis.
The Thesis consists in an original work of research created by the Ph.D. candidate
regarding any topic of the programs. The Thesis must give the doctorate candidate
the skills and knowledge to work autonomously in the R+D+I.
The Ph.D. program launched by Pegaso International allows to work in scientific
research areas regarding development, understood in the broad semantic
meaning, in reference to both personal development and social development
problems, such as the emancipation of marginal individuals, intercultural conflicts,
rules for civil coexistence, the discipline of behaviors, social actions and internatio-
nal conflicts, up to any other topics regarding culture, art, health, life quality and
the management of innovations in institutions.
The educational process for Law and Education doctoral candidates is mostly
online, with a very specific interdisciplinary and intercultural target; it is also
focused on research techniques and procedures required to the study of dynamic
and complex evolutionary processes, also from the perspective of the social
policies and the management of global society, engaging Ph.D. candidates in
research programs, seminars, study meetings, following a strong educational
program to develop a specific and robust identity to be tested in both internal and
external evaluations, and also through the participation in doctoral schools
promoted by scientific societies, on the bases of inter-university programs.
