IAM publications are published for and on behalf of the as-sociation’s membership and to advance the moving indus-try. IAM therefore reserves the right to reject, omit orcancel advertising that it feels is not in the best interest ofthe membership or the profession.

CLOSING DATES AND INSERTIONSInsertion orders must be confirmed in writing by spaceclosing date listed on the rate card. Orders received afterspace reservation deadline will not be published in thatissue. Verbal or electronic mail orders without contractsare not acceptable.

Artwork must arrive by specified art closing dates. Notypesetting or alterations will be done by the printer orIAM; no ad proofs will be available for advertiser to reviewprior to print run.

Previous artwork will be repeated if new artwork is not re-ceived by the closing date.

The word “advertisement” will be placed with copy that, inthe publisher’s opinion, resembles editorial matter. Pub-lisher reserves the right to determine ad placement, al-though every effort will be made to fulfill ad placementrequests.

No conditions, printed or otherwise, appearing on thespace order, billing instructions, or copy instructions thatconflict with the publisher’s stated policy will be bindingon the publisher.

Advertisers and agencies assume liability for content of ad-vertisements and assume responsibility for any claimstherefore made against the publisher.

Artwork will be destroyed 12 months after the advertiser’slast insertion of a specific ad.

PAYMENT/BILLINGIAM encourages advertisers to prepay upon submittingthe insertion order. Invoices will be e-mailed or mailed im-mediately following publication for advertisers that didnot prepay.

Payment must be received 30 days after the invoice date.

IAM reserves the right to require full payment in advancefor organizations with a poor credit history.

CANCELLATIONSNo cancellations or changes in insertion orders will be ac-cepted after the space reservation closing dates. Cancel-lations must be received in writing prior to the spaceclosing date.

Any advertiser canceling advertisements after the closingdate must pay the full space charge.

DELINQUENT ACCOUNTSThose accounts that are outstanding for 60 days or moreby the closing date of the current issue will be restrictedfrom advertising until full payment is received. Accountsmore than 90 days past due will be referred to our collec-tion agency.
