A NEW PARISH CENTRE

Since the closing of the Edmund Rice Centre, many parishioners have spoken of the need for a Parish Centre. The matter has been discussed

by the Parish Pastoral Council and the Parish Finance Committee. Both bodies are in favour of the idea and Bishop Deenihan has

endorsed the plan. How will it be financed? The Parish received a portion of the money from the sale of Eureka. The rest of the money will come from parish reserves. Covid-19 has put a temporary halt to plans but as soon as it is feasible the Parish Pastoral Council will resume work on the project.

RE-OPENING OF SCHOOLS We ask our parishioners to pray for all the school communities

in our parish as they return this week. There is an understandable sense of apprehension as they do so due to Covid-19.

Great credit and thanks are due to the Principals, Senior Staff and Boards of Management for the work they are doing in preparing

for the re-opening.
