Protocol
• Moroccan liaison officer: for all delegations.• All heads of delegations at ministerial level and above
will have:Close security protection : :
• One security team permanently with VVIP and VIP• One security team at residence of VVIP and VIP
Motorcades:• Official vehicles of the delegation (embassy or rented) will
be given special decals to access the area around site (VIP and VVIP access points and parking lots). Requests to be sent to : [email protected]
Protocol for VVIP• VVIP: Heads of States and Governments • They will be greeted at the airport in Marrakech by a
Moroccan high official and escorted to the VVIP lounge.
• Motorcade:• Police escort motorbikes;• Police lead vehicle;• Protocol vehicle (for Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs use);• VVIP official vehicle provided by Morocco;• Close protection vehicle;• 2nd vehicle and Van for official delegation provided by Morocco (if
needed).
• Additional vehicles of the delegation can join the motorcade (Embassy or rented vehicles).
Protocol for VIP• VIP: Ministers• They will be greeted at the airport in Marrakech by an official
from Moroccan MFA and escorted to the VIP lounge.• If transiting through Casablanca Airport, VIP will be escorted to
the VIP lounge.• Motorcade:
• Police lead vehicle;• VIP vehicle provided by the delegation;• Close protection vehicle;
• Additional vehicles of the delegation can join the motorcade (Embassy or rented vehicles).
• Delegations that do not have a diplomatic mission in Morocco could be provided with a vehicle for their VIP, upon request.
Armed security
• Each delegation headed by a VVIP or a VIP can have one armed national security officer and one armed Moroccan security officer (Additional requests will be examined on a case by case basis).
• Only one armed National security Officer accompanying the VVIP would be allowed in the meeting rooms (Plenary and dialogues room), staging in a designated area.
• Importing weapons for the security personnel requires an authorization.
• Only “hidden weapons” are allowed.• Requests should be made to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign

Registration
• Pre-registration for all participants is closed. • Pre-registered delegates can pick up their badges at the
registration center, in Bab Ighli Conference site, starting 5 December.
• Registration on-site will start on 5 December for Members States and media (etails on the Conference website).

Media• Importing equipment to Morocco:
• All Media importing equipment to Morocco require an authorization.• Requests should be made to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation: by email to [email protected], or through Embassies of Morocco or Embassies accredited in Rabat.
• Data required: name of journalist, affiliation, details about the equipment. • Drones are not allowed in Morocco.
• Filming authorizations:• Filming outside the Conference venue requires a specific filming
authorization (Side events site or other venues).• Requests should be made to the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
International Cooperation: by email to [email protected], or through Embassies of Morocco or Embassies accredited in Rabat.

Entry visa to Morocco

hotels and the Site of the Conference.• Important: reservations through the platform will
allow the Agency determine the required itineraries for transportation between the hotels and the site of the Conference.
Arrival in Morocco• Welcomes desks will be available at the airports of
Marrakech and Casablanca, as well as the train station in Marrakech.
• Appropriate signs will be put in place upon arrival to guide the participants and facilitate their entry procedures.
• Free shuttles at Marrakech airport will be provided on 8, 9 and 12 December. Information will be available at the Help desk in the airport.
