From the bull’s-eye, a striking arrangement of short, horizontal smears stepped out along the diagonals in the shape of an X or a maltese cross. The pattern shouted ______.”

Answer: DNA molecule.
Having mastered better than anyone a technique called x-ray crystallography, Rosalind Franklin had taken the-then clearest pictures yet of the DNA molecule. It came in two forms, depending on whether it was crystallized (shape A) or dissolved in water (shape B). It was the longer, stretched-out wet form, her Photo 51, that went on to become legendary.

-This symbol was often used in information technology to highlight a special meaning. In 1978 for example, Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie used it in the C programming language for special keywords that had to be processed first by the C preprocessor.
-This symbol then appeared and was used within Internet Relay Chat (IRC) networks to label groups and topics. Channels or topics that are available across an entire IRC network are prefixed with this symbol.

In 2007, Chris Messina proposed a similar system to be used on Twitter.

The usage of the word _________ can be traced as far back as the late 1990s, when it was used by circles of television fandoms. It consisted of watching several episodes of a particular show in a row via DVD sets. (Although theoretically possible with home videotape, very few television shows released episodes to home viewers in that format.) The word's usage was popularized with the advent of on-demand viewing and online streaming. In 2013, the word "exploded" into mainstream use when Netflix started releasing episodes of its serial programming simultaneously. 61% of the Netflix survey participants said that they _________ regularly.

When used in Latin, the name stands for evening.
