INTENSIVE SWIMMING

$1.50 per day per child .

Due to the dedication of our parent volunteers and teachers our intensive swimming is progressing extremely well. A tragic reminder of how important it is for all children to learn to swim is the seven year old boy still missing in Wagga. Swimming lessons are conducted throughout the summer and I urge parents to enrol their children. Tuesday, December 13: Presentation Night, 7pm School Grounds.

Thursday, December 15: Movie at Roxy Theatre.

Thursday, December 15: Year 6 Farewell Dinner.

Friday, December 16: BBQ lunch at Yanco Ag. Pool. Students last day.

Tuesday, December 20: Staff last day.

2012: Friday, January 27: Staff return.

Monday, January 30: Years 1-6 return.

Tuesday, January 31: Kindergarten start school.

GIVING TREE

This year Yanco Public School students are collecting pre-sents to give to people in our community who don’t have much money for gifts at Christ-mas.

We have a Christmas tree in the foyer near the of-fice, ready for gifts to be placed under it.

If you are able to contribute, please send in a gift with your child. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive, but new items would be good. Mrs Reinke, K/1 Teacher.
