Intellectual Property• IP is a creation of a mind,

for example: invenions,names, designs, etc.

• Categories:• Indistrial properties:

inventions,trademarks, industrial despigns and geographic indications.

• copyright:literary and artistic works (drawings, dance, poems, photographs, etc.)

• Rights: related to copyright (performances, phonograms in recordings, broadcasters.

What I can and cant cover with copyright

• COVERED• literary works such as novels,

poems, newspapers and; • films, musical compositions,

and choreography; • artistic works such as

paintings, drawings, photographs.

• NOT COVERED• Ideas, facts, recipes, blank

forms, stock literary devices, works lacking originality (e.g. the phone book), names, titles or short phrases, works from the federal government
