OIL AND GAS – MEASUREMENTS AND I&C SYSTEMS

FLOW COMPUTERS

The gas flow computer type MSP-02-FC is a microprocessor-controlled measuring device designed for operation in process and settlement measuring systems for compressive media. The flow computer was designed to simultaneously meet the requirements of GUM (Central Office of Measures) and ATEX as well as the PGNiG factory standard No. ZN-G-4007, European standard PN-EN 12405, and SGT – special requirements for flow computers used for international settlements connected with gas transfer through the Yamal-EU transit pipeline.

INSTALLATION VERSIONS:

• 19U2 – for installation in a 19” RACK system

• Multi – Wall-mounting compatible with MacMATIIA flow computers

• DIN – DIN rail mounting

The flow computer can operate with turbine, rotary, orifice, ultrasonic, mass and Annubar gas flowmeter, as well as with process chromatograph, odorizing station, AccuLERT system or MSP-SEP separators.

MSP-SEP SEPARATOR

Intelligent analogue and pulse separators MSP-SEP are designed for separation of measuring and control signals. The Ex version of MSP-SEP separators may receive signals from explosion hazard zones (hazard group II C). These configurable microprocessor-controlled devices are highly precise comparable with the MSP-02-FC flow computers, and are able to communicate with transmission systems through the RS485 ports. As a very unique solution, both MODBUS and GAZMODEM 1 and 2 protocols may be used for monitoring. Separators can be configured from the level of a dedicated MONITOR software installed on a computer.

MSP-SEP separators meet the requirements of standards:

PN-EN 60079-0:2009

PN-EN 60079-11:2007

PN-EN 60529:2002

Separators are designed for operation in industrial ICA systems and as extension modules for the MSP-02-FC flow computers. Available in Ex and nEx versions.

ANALOGUE SEPARATOR: Ex version: 2 analogue inputs/ 2 analogue outputs nEx version: 2 analogue inputs/ 2 analogue outputs

PULSE SEPARATOR: Ex version: 4 pulse-state inputs/ 4 pulse-state outputs nEx version: 4 pulse-state inputs, 2 state inputs/ 6 pulse-state outputs

COMMUNICATION: RS485: 2 independent channels; protocols: Modbus, GazModem 1 and 2.

MSP-nCOM MODULE

The MSP-nCOM device is the expansion module which adds serial ports with dedicated functionality to MSP-type flow computer. The module can be used in all applications where four basic communication ports of the flow computer are not enough.

The basic application range of the MSP-nCOM module includes communication of MSP flow computers with:

• Ultrasonic gas flow meters,

• Mass flow meters with digital communication lines,

• Chromatographs,

• Controllers (in Master and Slave modes),

• Superior systems (SCADA),

• Peripheral devices.

The single type MSP-02-FC flow computer may have as many as four MSP-nCOM modules connected to it; this way it is possible to obtain a flow computer equipped with four standard and four dedicated communication ports.

MSP-MK MODULE

The MSP-MK module is the advanced telemetric solution which extend the functionalities of MSP family devices by the following communication options: configurable serial ports (RS232/422/485); LAN; GSM; and fibre optic link (in SC or ST standard).

The MSP-MK device is available in three variants: MSP-MK1.0, MSP-MK1.1 and MSP-MK1.2.

The particular versions differ in local communication options, since the number and type of these options depend on the hardware modules used for configuration of the device.

MSP-MK1.0 - metrological and communication module equipped with:

• GSM Modem,

• Serial ports,

• 1x RS-485,

• 3x RS-(232/422/485) mode selected

from the locally configurator or remotely via a GazModem protocol,

• Ethernet,

• 1x Fast Ethernet

• State input:

• 6x state-voltage,

• 2x configurable: Analog 4-20 mA

• Output:

• 1 x contact

• 1x internal communications bus connector for connecting hardware extensions: MSP-MK1.1 or MSP-MK1.2.

MSP-MK1.1 - 4x hub Fast Ethernet.

MSP-MK1.2 - 3x hub Fast Ethernet with fiber optic port.

MSP-MK1.0 offers signal conversion from GPRS and Ethernet to RS-232/422/485 with multiple access - the same communication port can be read simultaneously and independently from the two networks (GPRS and LAN).

The unit is supplied with a program for monitoring and configuration for installation on a PC with Windows XP or higher.

Despite its small dimensions and low power consumption, the MSP-MK module combines the

features of five separate devices:

• Ethernet switch with fibre-optic input,

• GPRS modem,

• Serial ports server,

• Six-port module of telemetric inputs,

• Remotely controlled low power switch.

During operation of measuring systems the need arises quite often to evaluate the metrological conditions of equipment. For the purpose of such evaluation we offer the following technical solutions:

Acculert - the diagnostic and monitoring system for turbine gas flow meters, with technical solution based on intelligent signal separator type HF allowing for continuous monitoring of metering system behavior and monitoring of operational condition of the gas meter. FlowView - scalable software tool designed for monitoring of metering systems of various complexity levels, able to operate with MSP-02-FC flow computers.

MONITORING OF MEASURING SYSTEMS

MSP-PPC – LEVEL MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR LIQUIDS

LEVPoint –AHs (HART) and Leverian are microprocessor-controlled devices for liquide level measurement and control for hazardous and nonhazardous areas. Due to its modular design, the device can be optimally matched to the needs of every individual existing or new application.

The device can be integrated with the new one or already installed in the plant magnetic strip. Since such integration does not require any intervention in the structure of existing level indicator, there is no need to report it to The Office of Technical Inspection.

The LEVERIAN system add the following additional functions to liquid level indicators:

• Remote reading (ModBus; GazModem 1 and 2)

• Level visualisation on a computer

• Programming of four alarm thresholds

• Control of two drain valves.

MSP-LEVPoint-AHs Modular Liquid Level Sensor is a device equipped with 4..20mA output. Since HART

protocol is implemented, there is posibility of digital readout of the current level and the configuration of the device

with the supplied software. The device is powered by the measuring current loop (does not require an additional power

supply).

The basic applications of LEVPoint –AHs Modular Liquid Level Sensor and Leverian Measurement and Control Liquid

Level System are filter-separators, odorising station and other liquid containers equipped with a magnetic liquid level

indicator.

commercial solutions would not satisfy the customer. Owing to professional
